Get paid and grow your business

  • Once the customer has received his order, you can send a payment request 48 hours after the sale, in your seller's area. This 48-hour period after receipt of the product by the customer reassures us that the customer is satisfied with the delivery. However, during the two-week warranty period, you are entirely responsible for the after-sales service of your products.
  • Depending on the payment method (paypal, bank transfer or mobile money) chosen in your seller area, you will be paid .

We process international payments by PayPal transfer and national payments by country-specific payment methods such as mobile money for West Africa. Funds from PayPal sales on Don’tMove will be deposited into your PayPal account and the same goes for Mobile Money.

Registration fees are charged at 50,000 CFA francs (XOF) locally. If your currency is not the CFA franc, the amount to be paid in your currency will be equivalent to €76.25. We also accept transactions in Euro (€), Dollar ($) and Moroccan Dihram (MAD). The price in your currency may vary according to exchange rate fluctuations.

How do the Don'tMove fees work?

Registering and launching a store on Don’tMove costs 50,000 F CFA and entitles you to publish 100 products. To renew your package and/or increase it by another 100 products, you must add a new package of 100 products to your account, and so on. There are three basic sales fees: registration fees (the 100-product package), transaction fees (bank or mobile money) and order processing fees (email, SMS notification, parcel delivery and after-sales service). A publication lasts four months, or until the stock is sold out. When an item is sold, a transaction fee of 5.5% is deducted from the sale price (excluding shipping costs). If you accept payments with PayPal, there are also payment processing fees based on their pricing structure, the same as for mobile money or banking fees. Registration fees are charged at 50,000 F CFA, pegged to the euro as currency. So if you’re not from the CFA zone and your bank’s currency is not the euro, the amount may differ according to exchange rate variations.

How do I set up a store?

It’s easy to set up a store on Don’tMove. Create an account (if you don’t already have one), define your store’s location and currency, choose a store name, create an ad, define a payment method (how you want to be paid), and finally define a billing method (how you want to pay your fees).

Comment suis-je payé ?

If you accept payments with PayPal, funds from PayPal sales on Don’tMove will be deposited into your PayPal account. We encourage sellers to use a PayPal Business account and not a personal account, as personal accounts are subject to monthly receipt limits and cannot accept payments from buyers financed by a credit card.

Do I need a credit or debit card to set up a store?

No, you don’t need a credit or debit card to set up a store. To be verified as a seller, you have the choice of using a credit card or registering via PayPal. You won’t have to pay any fees until you’ve opened your store and published your ads.

What can I sell on Don'tMove?
